Social Program
We've planned some fun social activities for the conference community across the days of the conference that represent the flavors & spirit of Fulda.
Sun., 19:30: Welcome Reception at Wiesenmühle Fulda
The Welcome Reception will take place at the Wiesenmühle Fulda at 19:30, a traditional German restaurant and beer garden.
Tue, 18:30: Guided City Tour
Discover Fulda's sights as a group during this one-hour city walking tour through the Baroque quarter and the Old Town, where we'll also take a journey of discovery through the Middle Ages.
We'll admire the cathedral (Fulda Dome), pass by the mysterious Witches' Tower, and stroll through the picturesque alleys of the Old Town.
The tour will start at the Tourist-Information Fulda at 18:30
Tue, 19:30: Banquet
The conference Banquet will take place at the FLORA Klostercafé, Frauenberg Fulda at 19:30.
It is in walking distance to the point where the city tour ends.
Wed., 14:00: Hike in the Rhön Mountains
As part of the ARITH 2026 social program, we are excited to announce a trip to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön.
Located about half an hour from Fulda, we will do a small hike (5 to 10 km depending on the attendees) on top of the flat highland of the Rhön mountains.
The hike is scheduled in the afternoon of the last day of the conference on Wednesday July 1st, 2026.
Departure: Bus departs at 14:00 (2:00 PM) in front of the University Campus
Return: Approx. 18:00 (6:00 PM)
Depending on the weather, bring sunscreen or rain jacket, water, and comfortable shoes to fully enjoy this experience!
